Stephanie is a Tokyo based flutist, composer, improviser and performer. In August 2018 she premiered her first interdisciplinary theatrical work featuring original live music, contemporary dance and spoken word. The work, entitled Palomina, was funded by IgniteLab, a Melbourne based creative initiative for emerging artists.  In 2016-2018, Stephanie was a member of the cast of Celtic Illusion, an Irish dance and grand illusion sensation, performing as their solo flutist in multiple tours of Australia, New Zealand and China.

Stephanie completed her Master of Music degree in classical flute performance at the University of Melbourne. She completed her Bachelor of Music at the Elder Conservatorium, University of Adelaide. During her time at University Stephanie participated in a study tour in Europe, where she performed in concerts and master-classes at the Royal College and Royal Academy of Music in London, and at the Ecole Normale in Paris. She has been given the opportunity to play for and learn from many international artists including James Galway, Michael Cox and Philippe Bernold.

"Stephanie Alice impressively, largely improvised her way through many of the tracks, and at blazing speeds; and the sure musicianship with which her flute flew through complex scales added still more liveliness to an already high energy show."  - BMA Magazine
